Welcome to City of Marion's Comprehensive Plan website – an entire website dedicated to improving public involvement and awareness throughout the Comprehensive Planning Process.

A new Comprehensive Plan is needed for the City to protect and enhance the character of the residential neighborhoods and guide the revitalization and improvement of the Downtown and key commercial corridors. The new Plan is needed to build community consensus in order to help integrate land use, zoning, transportation, housing, environmental, economic development and public facility policies of the community. This website will keep residents informed of meeting dates and times, press releases, host on-line questionnaires, and provide opportunities for feedback. As drafts of the Plan are prepared, and after initial review by the Plan Commission, they will be posted on this site for public review and comment.

All areas of the website are available for viewing. It is not necessary to login. However you can create a login to the site to be automatically made aware of site updates and meeting dates as they are scheduled.
